Adam William Thornton Obituary

Adam William Thornton Jr was born in Little Rock Arkansas March 9,1977 to Adam William and Tunita Faye Thornton Sr both of Little Rock Arkansas.

Adam was a proud Little Rock Central High School Tiger graduate of 1996. If you really knew him, you could call him William, maybe even "Black", this meant you went way back with him. He loved the Chicago Bears and the Long Horns, and he loved to cruise around Little Rock in his spare time. In his youth he ran track and played football for Henderson Middle School, Sylvan Hills High School and Little Rock Central High School. His love for the game of football and sports grew so much he never missed a game that his kids had going on throughout their youth into high school.

He was passionate about giving his children the opportunity to succeed in life. He went on many trips to give his son Alex, the opportunities that he never received by traveling to different cities and states to showcase his talents on the football field. He was a huge support to his daughter Amaiya, to go to college to one day be a teacher. Encouraging his other two daughters Allyson & Jame'cia to be whatever they wanted to be in the medical field. William loved his children and he will be forever missed by each of them.

Adam worked for Bale Chevrolet most recently in his life& in his pasted he worked for the Arkansas Department of Correctional Systems

In his younger years he became a follower of Christ when he was introduced to him at Waters Temple Church of God in Christ in Little Rock. He became a member of King Solomon Baptist Church almost 9 years ago.

Adam lives to cherish his memory, his children: Jame'cia J. Belle, Amaiya J.F, Alexander D, Allyson J. Thornton.  He also leaves a host of cousins, uncles, and special Aunt Lucille Thornton. Friends and cousins that were very special to him: Chester Thornton Jr(cousin), Aquita Jones(best friend), Lee Killion(close friend).
