Artenius Demond Blueford, born on June 10, 1985, in El Dorado, Arkansas, was the beloved son of Regena Mitchell Johnson and Quinson Blueford Sr. He was a proud graduate of West Side Christian Academy in El Dorado, where he was a standout football player. He was admired for his intelligence, humor, and athleticism. His care for his family and friends touched everyone who knew him.

Demond’s legacy lives on through his two cherished daughters: Cali Jones and Armani Childress. He was a devoted brother to Angel Aaron (Kelsey), Zantha Buirse, Zyaire Blueford, Quinson Blueford Jr., Jordan Blueford, Antonio Mitchell, and Carlos Meeks. Demond was treasured by his grandmothers, Annie Marie Gulley and Peggy Mayweather, and his grandfathers, James Mitchell and James Blueford. He leaves behind loving aunts Pamela Murphy, Qunita Blueford, Alesha Blueford, and uncles, Harold Stephens and Kevin Stephens.

Demond was preceded in death by his grandmother, Peggy Mayweather, grandfather, James Mitchell, and aunt, Rhonda Mitchell Sims.

Demond’s memory will forever be held close by all who loved him.
