Christopher LeRon Nelson, 41, of Little Rock, Arkansas, passed on July 11, 2020.  An avid outdoorsman, Chris loved four-wheeling, fishing and nature.  He also loved family, dancing, laughing and giving.  His heart was big enough to love and he put his faith into action by feeding those who were homeless.  Chris was a self-employed barber and educated in the Pulaski County and Little Rock School Districts.

Chris was preceded in death by his special father, Kim Nelson, and grandfather, Simon H. Nelson; grandparents, Howard and Tollye Woods, and his cousin (and an Amigo), Larry DeShawn Piggee.

Celebrating his life and legacy are his parents, Michelle and Thomas Parker, and Artie and Brenda Nowden; daughter, Jasmine M. Nelson; fiancé, Misty Dixon; brother, Artie Ray Nowden, Jr., and a host of sisters and brothers; grandmother, Marian Nowden; special grandmother, Delores Nelson; great-aunt, Johnnie Washington Clark; step-daughters, Shenetha Venson and Ronika Crusterson; special cousin (and the last of the Three Amigos) Simon Adale Norwood; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. 

Because of the current pandemic, a Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
