Coy Henry Lasley, 66, of Little Rock, made his transition on August 04, 2026. He was born in Little Rock on June 25, 1960, the youngest son of Oney W. Lasley Sr. and Bernice White Lasley. He enjoyed combat sports and won third place in the Taekwondo National Tournament in 1980.

    Coy was an accomplished musician, having become a guitarist at a young age. He served in the United States Army, stationed in Germany as a missile repair technician. After he left the service Coy continued his musical career out of love for music, playing at several Little Rock club venues with his band and different other bands. He earned a living as a carpenter until he couldn't do it anymore and retired

    Both parents and an older brother, Oney W. Lasley Jr., preceded Coy in death. He is survived by his remaining siblings, Helen B. Lewis of Little Rock, Shirley J. Eaton of Park Forest, Illinois, Susan Lasley of Mount Vernon, New York, and Robert L. Lasley Sr. and wife (Kelley Lasley) of Festus, Missouri. He is also survived by a maternal uncle, Londell White of Little Rock, as well as a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
