Demetrius Brashaun Feemster II Obituary

With broken hearts and deep love, we announce the passing of Demetrius Brashaun Feemster, II, who left this world far too soon on April 13, 2025, at the age of 23.

Demetrius was a bright light — outgoing, intelligent, reserved, and deeply caring. He had a quiet strength, a kind soul, and a heart that made space for everyone. He loved nothing more than spending time with his family and friends, sharing laughs, love, and unforgettable moments.

He had a passion for traveling, an eye for great shoes, and a soft spot for his beloved fur baby. Demetrius was a hard worker, driven and dedicated in all he did. His genuine care for people left a lasting impact on every life he touched.

His faith was an important part of who he was. Demetrius was first baptized at a young age in his hometown of El Dorado, under the direction of Pastor Emma Jackson of Faith in the Word Ministries. As he grew and walked further in his journey with God, he rededicated his life to Christ under Kaderick Jones, Overseer of Nation of Kings Assembly.

Demetrius was a proud graduate of the 2020 class of Little Rock Parkview Patriots. During his time at Parkview, Demetrius was more than a student—he was a shining light who excelled not only in academics but also in football, track, and dance. He was a beloved classmate, a dedicated teammate, and a true friend to many.

After graduation, Demetrius began working alongside his mother, Karen, who remained a strong and guiding presence in his life. Though he valued that time, he felt the pull to carve out his own path. His journey led him to several opportunities before he found his professional home at PPG Industries Inc. It was there that Demetrius discovered more than just a job—he found respect, community, and a culture that embraced him.

At PPG, Demetrius built meaningful relationships and began a career he was truly proud of. His warmth, determination, and spirit left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him.

Demetrius is forever loved by his parents, Karen Stewart and Demetrius Feemster, Sr. (Kimberlee); his four sisters, De'Miyah Feemster, Kija Ferguson, Jakayliee Finney, and Caitleen Finney; and his four brothers, Justin Stewart, Deontae' Feemster, Joshua Brooks, and Dean Feemster.

He also leaves behind his grandparents Roy Nathan and Charles & Lynn Johnson, and his incredibly special significant other, Ms. Zia Patrick, who brought joy and love into his life. Demetrius was surrounded by a host of uncles, aunties, cousins, and friends, all of whom he loved dearly and who loved him in return.

Demetrius is preceded in death by his Great-Grandmother Odie Snodgrass, Grandparents Patricia Harris, Jeffery & Deborah Feemster, and Joel Stewart, Aunt Stephanie Boone, and Uncles Delvin Stewart & Antonio Harris.

Demetrius will be remembered for his kindness, his laughter, and his unwavering drive to grow and succeed. His legacy will live on in the hearts of his family, friends, and all who had the honor of knowing him.

Though his time here was short, Demetrius lived with a fullness that touched many. His spirit lives on in the hearts of those who knew him. We take comfort in knowing that he is in God’s hands now — Leave it to God
