Brother Densil J. Whittington, a husband, father, son, and brother with a kind, loving, and caring personality, left his earthly home to be with our Heavenly Father on October 5, 2024. Born November 23, 1939, Brother Densil lived a life of courage and service to others.

Brother Densil accepted Christ at an early age at St. Peter's Baptist Church in Columbia, LA. He graduated from Union Central and enjoyed singing in the choir and playing basketball.

Brother Densil met the love of his life and beloved wife, Susie. Brother Densil and Susie were high school sweethearts. Brother Densil was known for his strong will, unwavering determination, love, and support for his family and community. He and his wife were faithful members of Full Counsel Metro Church.

Brother Densil's legacy lives on through his dedication to exceptional quality and commitment to serving numerous customers. He founded Whittington Construction, and his expertise in masonry has left a lasting impact. He later worked for Dockery Construction and RPM, further solidifying his reputation for excellence. Brother Densil was a cornerstone in the John Barrow Community. He believed in providing job opportunities and a second chance for those previously incarcerated.

Brother Densil is preceded in death by his parents, Densil Sr., and Lillie Mae; his son, Jeffery; and his two sisters, Betty Allen and Margaret Adams.

He leaves his memories to his loving wife, Susie, of 65 years; his sons, Michael, and Jeffery L.
