Gloria, to me was a light that had this special illumination. she was to me always gentle and willing to help wherever she could. I know she will be missed at the Allport Community Church when I go there, for she always had a smile an a hug for a friend. May she Rest In Peace....sylvester VanBuren II

Here are some warm examples of part of the legacy that My Aunt Gloria left for my family to share! She made each of these four quilts, 1 for each of my girls to remember their childhood and you see that one on the bottom right. That one was a gift for Sidney and I on one of our early anniversaries. We know we have had it for at least 20 years. It Is Sidney’s Favorite Blanket!! It has been on our bed that entire time. A lot of things have happen under that blanket🎉🔥❤️☕️🥡🍦🍰 ⛽️ 💨 🗣👂🏽🤒🤢🤣🤣🤣!! He says it’s the perfect weight and thickness for him- and yes it’s Pink and White, and STILL ITS Perfect! We will miss you Aunt Gloria! Your “direct” comments 👀! She could set you straight if she wanted to- Ask Sidney! 🤣Your “If my money ain’t looking funny” sayings! Your Cinnamon Rolls!!!! Rest Well and Thank You For Being You!!

Ms. Gloria was a member of the Holly Grove City Council for years. I, Pat McGahee, am personally grateful for her checking on me daily when I had COVID-19. We sat side by side at Council meetings.  May God continue Bless her family
