Jared Lamar Thompson tragically passed away on the morning of Saturday, November 28, 2020 in North Little Rock, AR. He was born in Little Rock, AR to Mark and Dianne Thompson on July 23, 1999 and was the youngest of five brothers. Jared became an uncle at the early age of just 5 years old. He loved and adored all nine of his nieces and nephews and proudly wore the title “Uncle Jared”.
Jared enjoyed watching anime, playing video games, spending time with close friends and family and watching and rooting for his favorite footballteam, The Pittsburgh Steelers.
To everyone’s surprise on May 1st 2020, Jared himself became a proud father to his son ZenobionLamare Harris whom he named after one of his favorite Dragonball Z characters. Jared loved and cherished his son more than anything. Family was of uttermost importance to him and he never disappointed when it came to showing his love and helping however and whenever he could.
He is preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents; Mae Francis Thompson and McArthur and Linda Hunt as well as his sister Mae Francis Thompson.
In addition to his son and parents, Jared “PP” Thompson is survived by four brothers; Mark (Latia) Wright of Haskell, AR, Gavon Hunt of Forrest City, AR, Tarrance & Taiwan Hunt of North Little Rock, AR, His nieces and nephews; Datwon Bonds, Mark Wright Jr, Austin Wright, Aiden Wright, Karson Young, Zavion Turner, Gabrielle Hunt, Laila Hunt, Amara Hunt, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and close friends.
It is difficult at best to honor Jared in words or capture his true essence in speech. He touched the lives of many and forever left a permanent mark in the minds, hearts, and souls of those who knew him best. He will forever be loved and missed.
