Joe Nathan Henderson lll, 47 of Wrightsville, AR departed this life on Friday afternoon June 19,
2020. He was born in Little Rock, AR to the late Joe Henderson Jr and Effie Cawley Henderson
on September 28, 1972. He is preceded in death by his grandmother Mrs. Della Jackson who
helped raise him and was a strong influence in his life.
Joe a very compassionate person loved life and the people around him all the time. Joe was
educated in the Pulaski County Special School District. He was employed by Little Rock Tire
Co. He loved working on cars and was a self-employed mechanic. Joe loved his pets, collecting
and antique guns. He loved to hunt. Joe was a loving father to his children. He loved his sisters
and brothers (especially Willie). Joe is preceded in death by his niece Aretha Kendall, uncle John
Floyd, aunt Berniece Floyd, cousins Cleaster and Darrell.
To cherish his memories, He leaves behind fourteen beautiful children; Carlton Henderson,
Dontarius Henderson, Jo’Shayla Henderson, Ruben Henderson, Jordan Henderson, Kenya
Henderson, Joe Henderson IV, Braylan Henderson, Kennedy Henderson, Jamilla Henderson,
London Henderson, Javion Henderson (Way-Jay), Josian Henderson, and Joel Henderson, two
sisters; Jonia Newson of Little Rock, AR, and Patricia Cooney of Little Rock, AR, four brothers;
Calvin Comic of Wrightsville, Herbert Johnson of Las Vegas, Rodney Johnson of Malven, AR,
and Willie Young of Little Rock, AR, two grandchildren, and host of uncles, aunts, nieces and
nephews, many cousins and friends.
