Karen Ann "KK" Johnson, 62, peacefully departed this life on June 17, 2026. She leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, faith, and devotion to her family and friends. Karen was a woman whose kindness, wisdom, and caring spirit touched countless lives throughout her journey. Born on June 8, 1964, Karen was the beloved daughter of the late Gloria Maxine Harris and Sammie Lee Williams. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Alexander Johnson; her sons, Larry Williams and Timothy Williams; her grandson, Larry Williams Jr.; her granddaughter, Makayla Williams; and her brothers, Terry Baird and Cedric Hampton.

Karen leaves to cherish her precious memories with her loving children: Andrea Williams, LaTonya Williams, Christopher Williams (Jackie). She also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren: Kenyatta Jenkins, LaMarcus Hardy Jr., Erick Jenkins Jr., Christopher Williams Jr., Kash Williams, and Jayceon Williams. Karen was blessed to see her legacy continue through her great-grandchildren: Kyran Williams, Dakota Bryant, Charlie Hagler, and Marli Hardy. She is further survived by her sisters, Sharon Williams and Tonya Williams; her brother, Ray Williams; along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and dear friends who will forever treasure the love and memories they shared with her.

Affectionately known as "KK," Karen was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend. Her greatest joy came from caring for and spending time with her family. She possessed a loving spirit, a generous heart, and a strength that inspired everyone around her. Her wisdom, laughter, and unwavering support created memories that will be cherished for generations.

Though our hearts are heavy with sorrow, we take comfort in knowing that Karen's love and legacy live on through the many lives she touched. Her memory will remain forever in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
