Larry Wayne Neyland Sr.

We are saddened to announce the passing of Larry Neyland Sr., who left us on November 29, 2025, at the age of 71. Larry was born July 24, 1954, in Little Rock, Arkansas. Larry was the beloved son of Isiah and Mattie Lee Neyland.

After graduating from McCellan High School, Larry began his career at GS Roofing, where he worked tirelessly for thirty-nine years before retiring in 2010. He was known for his strong work ethic and dedication to his craft.        

Larry was preceded in death by his siblings; James Neyland, Idell Neyland, Mae Fracis Freeman, Isiah Neyland Jr., Delois Neyland, and one living sister Sheena Neyland.

In the year of 1992, Larry married the love of his life, Janice Neyland. He had eight wonderful children: Kelton Neyland (deceased), Britney Neyland, Chandra Neyland, D’Andre Neyland, Shimika Vurger, Larry Neyland Jr., Darron Harris (Loleta) and Keith Harris. Larry was a dedicated husband, and father who always put his family first.

In spare time, Larry enjoyed watching sports. He was a devout Dallas Cowboys fan. A son, father, husband, grandfather and friend. He will be truly missed by all those who knew him
