Mark Edward Thompson entered his heavenly home on February 21, 2021. He was born in Little Rock, AR on March 3, 1961 to Mae Francis Thompson and was her only child. After his Mother's early and untimely death, Mark was raised by his Grandfather Richard Thompson.
 
Mark's greatest joy was being a Father and Grandfather. He loved spending time with his Grandchildren when ever he could. Mark was considered "Uncle Mark" to so many people who loved and adored him. Mark never met a stranger and his smile could light up any room. He loved family and always made sure family was his top priority.
 
He is preceded in death by his Mother Mae Francis Thompson, his Daughter Mae Francis and his Son Jared Lamar Thompson.
 
Mark Edward Thompson is survived by his Son Mark (LaTia) Wright of Haskell, AR, His God-giving Sons Gavon Hunt of Forrest City, AR, Tarrance & Taiwan Hunt of North Little Rock, AR, His Grandchildren; Datwon Bonds, Mark Wright Jr., Austin Wright, Aiden Wright, Karson Young, Zavion Turner, Gabrielle Hunt, Laila Hunt, Amara Hunt, Zenobion Harris, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends. Mark had people in his life that were very special to him, Sharon Thompson- Cox, Tamara Summons, Caroline Jarrod, Linda Ross and Baron Rosby. Sharon and Tamara were more than just cousins to Mark, they were truly inseparable and they shared a bond that can never be broken. His Aunts Caroline and Linda held a very special place in his heart. Baron was his Best-friend of many years.
