Marshall Lee White Jr., known as we called him (Brau) was born to the late Marshall Lee White Sr. and Mamie Ann Calhoun White on July 22, 1955, in North Little Rock, Arkansas. He grew up in the McAlmont and Brushy Island community.

Mashall attended Harris high school and graduated from Jacksonville high school in 1973, after graduation he attended UALR. He later worked for Baker’s Clean cars and Arkansas power & Light Company, where he worked for seventeen years. Marshall accepted Christ at a young age and as he grew in Christ, he served as part of the finance team and grounds keeper at Clayton Chapel Church until he could no longer perform the tasks required.

Marshall’s greatest pride was being a husband and father. He loved his wife, Terrilyn, even though he would sound like he was in charge of the household, he knew she was the real authoritarian. She was his best friend, and he was hers.’

Marshall was preceded in death by his parents, Marshall and Mamie White, his brother, Ricky Calhoun Sr., and his sister, Cynthia White.

Marshall leaves his loving memory and legacy to his wife of forty-three years, Terrilyn White, his children, Joi White-Casanova and son in law Miguel Casanova whom he loved like a son, Paul Cooley, and Rhindi White whom he loved and spoiled graciously.

His greatest joy of all was his passion for fishing and his grandchildren, Madison Cooley, Kingston Cooley, Talley Cooley and Ahriah Casanova. Mashall also leaves behind his loving siblings, Ann White Taylor (Donnie), Sandra Spencer (Charles), Danny White (Evelyn), Lisa White, and Marsha Cohen of Nashville, Tenn, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends

Marshall would always say “IF I FELT ANY BETTER, I WOULD HAVE TO GO BACK TO WORK”
