Reflections of Life
Patricia Harrison Carroll came into the world on Monday April 27, 1964 at Clark County Memorial Hospital in Arkadelphia, AR. She was the sixth child born to Ezekiel and Maelean Harrison. At the tender age of 5, Patty the name known by her family joined First Baptist Church of Sparkman, AR under the leadership of Rev. Pete Lambert. Growing up in Sparkman Patty loved playing baseball and basketball.
On Tuesday February 2, 1982, she gave birth to a beautiful baby girl name Erica Harrison. She was blessed to be her mom until October 3, 1986. She was a 1983 graduate of Sparkman High School and after graduation she attended Baptist College of Little Rock, AR. She studied Elementary Education. While attending Baptist College, she met the love of her life Warren Carroll Sr., and became one on December 16, 1989. To this union four children were born. After living in Sparkman for several years they moved their family to Cotton Plant, AR. Patty or Patty cake went on and received her degree in Special Education and taught at Cotton Plant Elementary School.
Patty was one who truly loved her family. She was known as the Boss! She would plan Holidays, vacation trips and gatherings, and everyone would wait for instructions on what to bring, what to do, and what time to be there. She loved to fish, listen to music and just go sit at the river for relaxation.
Patty’s greatest joy was being a mother and grandmother. When her beloved Warren passed on September 29, 2005, she poured her heart and soul into raising her four children. She supported them in every activity and sports. She would even organized fund raiser games with Power 92 to support their schools. After she got all of her children through High School, she moved to Little Rock.On January 2015 she united with Holy Cross Baptist Church with Rev. Wiley as Pastor.
On Monday August 24, 2020 at her home, Patty went to be with the Lord, those who waits her arrival, her baby Erica, and Husband Warren Sr., her father Ezekiel T. Harrison Sr. (April 24, 2002) brothers Tracey Harrison (July 19, 1992), Ezekiel T Harrison Jr. (January 27, 2010), grandmother Nancy Dunn Halton Hughes (October 10, 1982, and mother in law Edna Lee Carroll (July 2011).
Those who will forever cherish her memories, her mother, Maelean Harrison of Arkadelphia, AR, son; Warren Carroll Jr. of Little Rock, Three daughters; Latricia (Mitchell) Hicks and Katreice Carroll (Special Friend Christopher Tucker) of Little Rock, Nancy Carroll of Birmingham, Alabama, one brother Ricky (Phyllis) Harrison of Sparkman, AR, three sisters; Linnie (Mike) Lowery of ST. Peters, MO, Cynthia Wright of Warren, AR and Rosemary (Dawson) Williams of Jacksonville, AR. The proud Gamma of eight Erika Danyell (Bunny Rabbit) Lane, Alise Michelle Grice, Teliyah Madison Lee; Marquese Quontaiz Hicks, Christiana Marie ( Bug) Tucker; Titayanna Aaliyah Hicks, Markevian Quontaiz Hicks and Mitchell Quontaiz Hicks, Three brother in laws Ulysseus ( Brenda ) Carroll of Chicago, Ill, Verlon ( Yvonne) Carroll of Jacksonville, AR and Jimmy ( Florence) Carroll of Brinkley, AR, seven sister in laws Laura Jean ( Albert)Boyd of Chicago, Ill, Dorothy Carroll, Of Little Rock, AR, Carolyn Carroll of Flint, MI, Neacy Gant of Cotton Plant, AR, Gloria Carroll and Myrtra (Reginald) Adams of Little Rock, AR., and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Three very special friends Mrs. Lynder Anderson, Mrs. Margaret Hall and Alice Faye Conway.
